Shop Floor Sanctuary
March '25 unfortunately will see the closure of a record number of high street stores. In an increasingly digital world we find we fall more in love with our physical shop floor. Here’s why we find sanctuary in our Banwells retail space:
Customer experience; the instant gratification of an online order may be efficient but walking into Banwells offers an encounter far more pleasant and purposeful
Face to face interaction; never underestimate the power of gesticulation! It’s much easier to explain how the ‘thingymagigy’ on your necklace broke face to face as opposed to an automated service.
Community engagement: our retail presence offers community connection and there is a sense of solidarity between the shops on our high street
Reduced miscommunication; the richness of in-person dialogue can reduce the risk of misinterpretation which serves for much better customer service
Emotional connection; much of that we do has a level of emotional involvement. The purchase of jewellery is inextricably linked to a story or event and whilst buying/selling/repairing from our shop we have the privilege of hearing those stories
Builds trust: sharing a physical space with someone builds connections and trust and customers are able to sense our authenticity and sincerity
Banwells retail space is not just a sparkly window; it’s a place for connection, conversation and excellent customer service…
